Meet Our Pastors
Brian Watson serves as Senior Pastor of Gateway Community Church. Brian has been in ministry for over 21 years, as a minister of music, youth pastor and senior church pastor. A second-generation pastor, Brian is a native of Houston, TX currently working towards his Master's in Religious Education Degree. Brian received his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, where he worked with children's missions and was a music director of his college gospel choir. He also holds a Master's of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife of over 20 years, Rolanda, reside in Houston. |
Rolanda Watson is the Administrative Pastor of Gateway Community Church. Rolanda has been in ministry for over 20 years now, working in youth ministry and administration. Also a "PK" (pastor's kid), Rolanda is a native of Houston, TX. Rolanda attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, and The University of Houston. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Religion from Liberty University. She also holds numerous licenses in the tax and financial industries. Besides being an insightful administrator, Rolanda is a skillful teacher of the word, as well as a dynamic praise dancer. Rolanda's ministry focus includes inner healing/restoration, youth ministry, marriage enhancement, financial freedom, and community development. She is committed to empowering others to impact the world. Rolanda's hobbies are spending quality time with family/friends, reading, watching movies and traveling.
